 New Delhi: Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders, United Nations agency courted difference of opinion for supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. Geert Wilders, the United Nations agency known for repeatedly taking a misleading stance against Muslim political theory in his country, had extended his support for the BJP leader when she made questionable comments about the Prophet Muhammed during a television conversation.

The Dutch politician took it to Twitter and shared multiple screenshots of threats. “So this is often what I buy supporting the brave #NupurSharma. Lots of death threats. It makes me even more determined and happy to support her. Because evil could never win. Never. #IsupportNupurSharma,” he said during a tweet.



The screenshots that Wilders posts on Twitter contained vulgar threatening messages and even indicated the need to assassinate him.


Earlier on June 6, he claimed that Nupur Sharma gave the correct information. Bharat should reciprocate her support. During a tweet, Wilders, who supported Nupur Sharma's disputed comments, said: "It is ridiculous that Arab and Muslim countries are angry at Indian politician. What did Nupur Sharma say?

During a television discussion, Nupur Sharma allegedly created communal comments against the Prophet Muhammad, which created a furor across the state and even the world. His comments drew strong criticism from Muslim countries and BJP also suspended his comments once questioned. Protests are happening across the country and some have even turned violent. 


In Ranchi, Jharkhand, two people were killed and many, including security personnel, seriously separated as violent protests rocked the city. UP police stand by over 130 people from six districts of the state as people threw stones at police personnel in Prayagraj and Saharanpur and protests ended with Friday prayers. In addition, the city saw large protests against Sharma.
